Don't ever, ever BUY game e-guides from Ebay or any auction site. Most of the time, these are blatantly stolen works of hardworking authors that contribute their faqs/ guide for FREE to several gaming sites. These guides should be free, regardless of format. I have a friend and fellow game writer that has her walkthrough stolen, plagiarized and sold in Ebay for $5.99. Please report any similar incidents to the authors. We writers dedicate countless hours of our lives, energy and resources just to deliver you quality content and help for the games you love. It is infuriating to have some gutless idiot to take advantage of someone else's hard work and make profit out of it.
'Vhayste'is a Filipino video game walkthrough, faq and reviews contributor/ writer. Most of his contributions can be found in major gaming sites such as IGN, Chapter Cheats, Neoseeker, Gamefaqs, Cheathappens, and Supercheats to name a few. He started out gaming since the NES days, in the early 1990s. His walkthroughs are mostly for the PS2, PSP, NDS and Xbox 360. Since then, he actively contributed reviews, cheat codes and faqs to help other gamers and non-gamers alike. After his first work was posted, several other gaming sites has taken notice and later published his works on their sites as well. He also accommodates his readers' questions through email.
He is also featured as IGN's "Faq Writer of the Month" for March 2007, recognizing his hard work and the quality of the contributions he submitted. He also works as the editor for the technical section of their local company magazine, and also a contributor for another online magazine. Also in the same month, Gamepro's Gamerhelp.com awarded him for the 'Highest Ranked Faq' for March for his comprehensive guide for the PS2 RPG, Rogue Galaxy. He also received the same award for the month of June 2007.
He has written PDF guides, as well as creating TXT format versions of those guides to be accessible to other readers as well. His PDF guides are user friendly, as well as being comprehensive and illustrated. So far, IGN.com, Cheathappens.com, ChapterCheats.com and Gamerhelp.com are the only gaming sites that hosts his PDF guides. All of his exclusive PDF guides are also located in IGN.com.
He recently bought a PSP in June 2007, to further widen his choice of games and titles to write guides to. He decided to buy an Xbox360 in late September 2007 to be able to cover the next-gen games already making their way to the mainstream at that time. In April 2008, he became one of the proud owners of a Nintendo DS Lite.
His game preferences include flight combat simulators, racing, strategy, RPG and action/adventure games. His favorite game includes the whole Ace Combat Series, Need for Speed franchise, Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile games for the PS/2/P and Xbox 360. He maintains his own personal page hosted by 1up.com. Like a typical gamer, he describes himself as a mix of anime, mechs, cars, fighter planes and girls.
